I was never good at Chemistry back in high school but if I see a science experiment, it excites me. So when I heard about N2 Extreme Gelato, I knew I had to go.
The moment you walk in, you’ll notice that it looks very much a warehouse converted into something that looks like a science lab with gelato makers in lab coats and goggles.
To the left of the counter is a feature wall painted in black and the menu drawn onto the wall with chalk duster!
Upon arrival, choose one flavour, pay at the counter and watch them make your gelato using liquid nitrogen!
A lot of people stood in front of the display to watch them pour liquid nitrogen into the beautiful white mixers.
When I saw Salty Choc + Pretzel pieces I was sold! The gelato was subtle in saltiness which complemented the creamy and smooth chocolate flavour. The crushed pretzel pieces were stirred into the gelato giving the gelato a crunchy texture.
On the other hand my cousin chose a refreshing mango sorbet which was slightly tangy but full of mango flavour!
Overall:
There’s a long queue, there’s a long wait time for them to make the gelato, but hey they entertain you with liquid nitrogen. The price is rather steep, but it does taste really good!
